About me

Born and raised in California but also lived in New York City. I am a Bay Area girl with a NYer heart who now lives in Dallas, TX with my husband, son, and morkie. My professional dance career started just three weeks after graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Business and minor in Communication Arts. My very first job as a dancer was on the world tour of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers where I played Rita Repulsa and continued to travel, tour, perform, and appear on numerous TV shows and films for the next 15 years. I then started teaching on dance conventions until breaking into the fitness world. My longest “gig” was four incredible years as a dancer for Britney Spears. I was one of Brit’s original dancers appearing alongside her on tours, television, and her first five music videos (Baby…One More Time, Sometimes, You Drive Me Crazy, Born To Make You Happy, and Oops…I Did It Again). My fitness career began when I met and became lifelong BFF’s with Shaun T (INSANITY, My Diet Is Better Than Yours) on a dance job, The 10 Commandments starring Val Kilmer, Adam Lambert, and Alisan Porter. I went on to join Shaun T on his Beachbody projects Hip Hop Abs, Rockin’ Body, INSANITY, T25, and CIZE.

My husband, Derek, is  the man with the ah-mazing squats in T25. We have a son, Benjamin, better known as BJAM.

I am a huge nerd and over-achiever, I love all things odd and quirky. Learn more about my quirks in FUN FACTS.

#CEOMOM, FOUNDER OF TEAM MACHINE

In 2013, Team Machine was created when I decided to take a leap of faith and decided to try this crazy thing called Beachbody Coaching. I was a huge skeptic! My exact words were, “No way, I don’t want to do that…those are a bunch of creepy salespeople in a cult.” Well, I’m proud to say that now I’m one of those crazy people. It wasn’t until I had my very own life transformation with T25. I gained 60 lbs with my pregnancy, had a C-section…and lost all my  passion for being fit. I considered my fitness career to be over…until I had my own before and after. I was hooked after that.

I have built an entire business based on doing home workouts and helping others do the same. I help people get healthier and happier with a team of people I teach to do the same. By 2015, I was blown away that I was able to resign my full-time job and be a full time coach…working part-time hours…my own hours. From bankrupt in 2010 to back on my feet by 2012 doing every job imaginable, to losing 50% of my income in 2013…to where I am today, a business owner who gets paid to work out. My Team Machine family is exactly that…we are a family, one big giant fit family. We do this together and we will do this with you should you ever decide to take that same leap of faith. We would love to welcome you into our fit family! Learn more about joining Team Machine.

TRAINER

Having trained numerous Beachbody test groups (CIZE, Country Heat, INSANITY MAX:30, T25, INSANITY, 10 Min Trainer, Hip Hop Abs, and Rockin’ Body), I found the passion for helping others change their lives one workout at at time. Witnessing these life changing transformations makes me heart smile.

As the CIZE LIVE Format Expert, I am lucky for the opportunity to combine my love for dance and passion for fitness. I create the routines that are taught by our CIZE LIVE instructors worldwide. From choreographing the routines, hand picking all the music, and creating new ways to help our instructors hone their craft, I also get to CIZE IT UP every single day while creating new content for our instructors and class goers.

I am a Beachbody LIVE Master Trainer for CIZE LIVE and Country Heat LIVE. I train and teach new instructors how to teach these formats in a live class. Nothing beats the energy of a live class! It’s always more fun to sweat it out with friends.

You can also work out with me in the Master Trainer series on Beachbody On Demand. I travel a ton but I don’t always get to your town so with BOD, you can have me in your living room (I’m a neat house guest LOL). Get a 30-day free trial and/or sign up for our Annual All Access BOD and get our entire library of workouts…basically like the Netflix of fitness.
